The Faculty of Law is dedicated to preparing highly qualified legal professionals equipped with modern legal knowledge and practical skills, capable of making a meaningful contribution to the development of society and the state.
The Faculty of Law was established within Bukhara State University in 2026 and resumed its activities based on a decision of the University Council adopted in August 2026.
The faculty's primary mission is to train highly qualified legal professionals needed in higher education, general secondary education, and the social sector.
The faculty comprises the Department of Public Law and the Department of Private Law. Currently, 46 academic staff members work at the faculty, which provides education to 1,948 students.
The Faculty of Law places particular emphasis on delivering high-quality legal education, advancing scientific research, and integrating theoretical knowledge with practical skills.
The faculty works to support the educational process with modern teaching materials and digital resources, engage students in academic research, and promote legal awareness and culture.
The program enables students to acquire theoretical legal knowledge and develop professional practical skills essential for their future careers.
To advance legal education and scientific research, the faculty has established partnerships with higher education institutions across Uzbekistan.
The faculty welcomed Farahila Babayeva-Shukurova, Candidate of Legal Sciences and Associate Professor at Baku State University. Her visit was part of the faculty's international academic engagement.
The faculty places special emphasis on preparing textbooks, monographs, teaching manuals, and comprehensive instructional materials for the subjects taught within its academic programs.
The developed digital teaching materials are made available through the Information Resource Center of Bukhara State University, the ZiyoNET network, and the faculty's web resources. These materials support independent learning and student research.
The faculty actively encourages talented students to participate in research, legal awareness initiatives, and educational and cultural activities. Student clubs provide opportunities to develop knowledge, professional skills, and teamwork.
Members of the Advocates' Club actively participate in legal awareness activities at the faculty. Educational, cultural, and student events are regularly featured on the official information channels of the university and faculty.
